The Super Power of Character

Please join us for a free dinner, a fun family activity, and some valuable parent education!

Tuesday, January 28th at 6pm at The Center

Free Dinner and Childcare!

Leadville’s own Kelli McCall, Assistant Professor at CMC Timberline, will present The Super Power of Character.  Kelli is a graduate of Lake County High School, St Olaf College, and has her master’s degree from the University of Minnesota.

The Super Power of Character discusses how to build character and a growth mindset in children – two critical and often overlooked factors that help children succeed. We’ll discuss strategies that parents can take home to help their children overcome adversity, use struggle as an opportunity for growth, and encourage children to become curious lifelong learners.

This great family event is sponsored by Lake County Build A Generation’s Eyes Wide Open and The Center’s Policy Council.

For free childcare, please RSVP to Julie Lundgren at 719-293-5944 or
