Civil legal aid for low-income residents of Eagle and Lake County. Provides legal assistance for issues including the following: divorce and custody, domestic violence, evictions, banckruptcy, public benefits, living wills, medical power of attorney, and immigration help for vistims of the crime.

Program/Service Access: Services are for low-income people with legal or civil problems. It is recommended that a person call first to determine if they are eligible. Applications can be provided by email, fax or mail; applications can also be found on the wall outside the office (on the 3rd floor of the Courthouse building) filed according to legal matter. Applicants must meet financial guidelines and must provide either proof of citizenship or legal status. If it is an emergency call first; if no one is available in Leadville, our services can be accessed through our toll-free telephone, 1-800-521-6968. Walk-ins are welcome on Wednesday.
Northwest Colorado Services provides free legal advice clinics in Eagle County on the first Thursday of each month. Interested parties may call 1-800-521-6968 for more details. Posters for the clinics can be found at the Courthouse on the 3rd floor outside the Legal Services office. A new Pro Se (On Your Own) Family Law Legal Clinic is held once a month in the Legal Services office; persons interested need to apply.Download a flyer (Spanish version).
