I'm down

Join the Leadville community in reading Mishna Wolff’s memoir, “I’m Down.” Colorado Mountain College has chosen Wolff’s memoir for its Community Reader program this year.  Wolff will be visiting the Leadville campus on October 22 at 7 pm.

From the CMC webpage:  Mishna Wolff’s memoir tells the story of her life as a painfully shy white teenager living in a poor African-American neighborhood while attending an elite private high school. Her witty, hip recollections of growing up torn between two very disparate cultures explores what it means to be black and white in contemporary America.
