Great Things Happening in Lake County School District –

September’s Important Dates for Students and Families  

Welcome back to the start of a great school year with many great things to look forward to!

Keep in mind these important September dates for students and families:

10th – Board of Education regular meeting at the District Office, 7 pm

11th – National Honor Society sponsored Blood Drive at Lake County High School, 1-5 pm (A great way to  honor the victims and rescuers of 9/11)

13th – CMC College Fair for Juniors and Seniors at CMC

16th – Rachel’s Challenge student assemblies, Lake County High School, for grades K-6 (9:30 am), 7-12 (10:45 am), and Leadership Training for some 7-12 students (1 pm)

            Be sure to join us for the Rachel’s Challenge community event for adults (suitable for students 6th grade and above), 7 pm at the Tabor Opera House.  (Babysitting will be provided at Pitts Elementary School). 

18th – Lake County High School Back-to-School Night, 5:30 pm

18th – SOS Registration, Lake County Middle School Library, 6 pm

19th – West Park Elementary School picture day

19th – Parents Active Within Schools (PAWS) meeting, Lake County Middle School Library, 6:30 pm

20th – Lake County High School Community Service Day

25th – Lake County Middle School Open House, 6:30 pm
