February at Lake County Public Library

Lake County Public Library will be closed February 17th for the President’s Day holiday and will reopen February 18th at 10:00 am.


Friends of Lake County Public Library will be hosting “The Viking Battalion: The Story of the 99th Infantry Battalion,” a two hour film produced by Steinar Hybertson, on February 19th at 6:30 pm in the Amax Room. Doors open at 6:00 pm and seating is limited to the first 75 attendees. This program is free.Don’t forget to check out the display of artifacts and information about the 99th Infantry Battalion inside the Library.

The monthly Basic Computer Class will be held February 24th from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

Free Tax Preparation

On February 26 and March 1st Colorado Mountain Tax Volunteers (CMTV) will be at Lake County Public Library to provide free tax preparation for most low and moderate income tax payers. CMTV will help with Federal and Colorado State resident returns. Please call 719-486-0569 to make your reservation or to request more information.
