Lake County Public Library is taking part in the Big Library Read program Tuesday, June 3 through Wednesday, June 18. Millions of eBook readers around the world will be reading A Pedigree to Die For, Book 1 of the Melanie Travis Mystery Series by Laurien Berenson, as part of the International Big Library Read Program.
Big Library Read is an international program that gives library patrons unlimited simultaneous access to a popular title for a two-week period, creating a virtual, global book club. You will be able borrow A Pedigree to Die For using a valid Lake County Public Library card, and you can read on all major computers and devices, including iPhone®, iPad®, Nook®, Android™ phones and tablets, and Kindle® without worrying about wait lists or holds. Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period. This is a free program and there are no late fees!
To participate, click here to get to OverDrive, and then click on Borrow. Select Lake County Public Library from the dropdown list, then enter all digits of your library card number (found on the back of your card). You can also access OverDrive through the library website.
