2016 Summer Reading Program Begins Tomorrow @ LCPL

The theme for the Summer Reading Program at Lake County Public Library is “On your mark, get set… Read” with a focus on reading for sports, health and fitness. The program features prizes, games and activities with different weekly themes for preschool, grades K to 1, grades 2 to 5 and teens. Five top readers will win either a new bicycle or skateboard. Readers receive one top prize raffle ticket for each completed reading log (with a limit of four raffle tickets per reader). Readers can continue to read beyond the four cycles  of prizes to achieve the Top Reader Award. Top readers will qualify for additional prizes and a picture in the newspaper as well as a Top Reader Certificate. All readers are invited to participate in the 2016 Boom Days Parade on August 6.
